Important Financial Aid Announcements
for 2008-2009

Financial aid forms and instructions

Students who plan to attend CVTC summer quarter and beyond MUST REAPPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID in order to be eligible for HOPE/PELL for next quarter. All students across the United States are required to complete financial aid applications that are effective July1, 2008 through June 30, 2009.

There are several major changes to the application process and the disbursement of funds for 2008-2009.

It is very important for students to apply for financial aid soon and in the correct manner.

There is also a major change if the way that Pell funds are disbursed to students.

All students who receive financial aid were required to attend a meeting in April and May and were required to sign a form at the meetings. Students who did not attend a meeting and who want to receive financial aid next year must visit the financial aid office to sign a form.
