2007-2008 Floyd County Campus GED Graduation Ceremony

Coosa Valley Technical College held GED Graduation for 2007-2008 Floyd County GED graduates on August 14, 2008 at The Forum in Rome, Georgia.  The theme for this year’s ceremony was “Reach Higher, Floyd County.” 

Approximately 225 Floyd County adults who earned the General Educational Development Diploma during school year 2007-2008 were invited to attend with their families and guests.  A reception followed the ceremony.

Included in the ceremony were Otis Raybon, Technical College System of Georgia; Susan Hackney, CVTC Adult Education; Craig McDaniel, Coosa Valley Technical College; Herman Bradshaw, CVTC Adult Education; and Nancy Simmons, CVTC Adult Education. 

Presenting awards were Barbara Ware for the 100 Black Men of Rome and Linda Liles for the Office of Congressman Phil Gingrey.
