netLibrary: CVTC Student, Faculty, and Staff access to Electronic Books (eBooks)
What are eBooks? eBooks are electronic versions of printed books. eBooks can be viewed online from any PC connected to the Internet. Since ebooks are online, they are available for quick research and reference at your convenience--anywhere, anytime! One other great thing about eBooks, you never have to worry about returning them.
CVTC has access to over 22,300 eBooks through netLibrary. When you search the library online catalog, you will find records for these eBooks in the catalog. Click on the weblink for this book, and you will be taken to the netLibrary website to view the eBook.
Create a netLibrary eBook account for yourself while on the CVTC campus. This will identify you as a CVTC user and allow you access to all CVTC eBooks from your home with the login you create.
You may also search for eBooks directly from the netlibrary website while off campus. The website is located at http://netlibrary.org. Once there, enter your account information and you will have access to all the electronic books also found in the library online catalog.
eBooks are easy to search, have links from their table of contents and index to the pages you want to view, and allow you to make electronic notes while you are reviewing the book
